Cookie Policy
Effective date: April 29, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how InterNeuron Labs Inc. ("InterNeuron Labs," "Recursite," "we," "our") uses cookies, local storage, pixels, tags, SDKs, and similar technologies when you visit or use Recursite.
Quick navigation
1. Overview
Cookies and similar technologies help us operate Recursite, keep the service secure, remember your choices, understand usage, improve performance, and communicate about our services. Some technologies are required for the service to function. Others are optional and are used only when enabled or where otherwise permitted by law.
This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal data more broadly.
2. Technologies We Use
- Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We use them for account sessions, authentication, security, and short-lived workflow state.
- Local storage lets the app store product state on your device, including cookie preferences and client-side account state used by Recursite.
- Pixels, tags, and scripts may help us measure site usage, diagnose issues, and understand the effectiveness of communications or campaigns where enabled.
- Server logs and diagnostics may collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, timestamps, and referring pages.
3. How We Use Cookies
We group cookies and similar technologies into the categories below.
| Purpose | Description | Examples | Controls |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Required to provide Recursite, keep accounts signed in, protect against abuse, complete authentication flows, remember security checks, and maintain basic service reliability. | Encrypted session cookies, OAuth/PKCE flow cookies, account deletion verification cookies, and security or fraud-prevention cookies. | Always active. You can block them in your browser, but Recursite may not work correctly. |
| Preferences | Used to remember choices you make so the product can work the way you configured it across visits. | Cookie consent preferences stored in local storage, interface settings, and similar preference records. | You can update optional preferences through Privacy choices in the footer or clear them in your browser. |
| Analytics | Helps us understand how people use Recursite, measure feature performance, troubleshoot reliability issues, and improve the product. | Google Analytics tags and related identifiers, usage events, page interactions, device/browser metadata, and approximate region. | Loaded only after analytics consent where required. You can disable analytics in Privacy choices. |
| Personalization and marketing | May be used to customize content, understand whether marketing is effective, and avoid showing irrelevant messages. | Campaign attribution parameters, referral information, marketing measurement tags, and audience or personalization signals where enabled. | Optional. You can disable marketing and personalization cookies in Privacy choices. |
4. Third-Party Services
We work with service providers that may set or read cookies and similar technologies when they support Recursite. These providers may include authentication, hosting, analytics, security, payments, customer support, and communications vendors.
For example, Recursite uses WorkOS for authentication flows and may use Google Analytics after analytics consent to understand aggregate site and product usage. Third-party providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices where applicable.
5. Managing Your Cookie Settings
You can manage optional analytics and personalization/marketing choices at any time by selecting Privacy choices in the Recursite footer. You can accept all optional cookies, reject all optional cookies, or customize categories individually.
Your Recursite cookie choices are stored in local storage so we can remember them. If you clear browser storage, use a different browser or device, or browse in private mode, you may need to set your preferences again.
6. Browser Controls
Most browsers let you remove, block, or limit cookies and similar technologies through browser settings. Your controls may vary by browser and device. Blocking all cookies may prevent sign-in, saved preferences, security workflows, and other core parts of Recursite from working correctly.
You can also review controls offered by third parties, such as analytics opt-out tools, advertising preference tools, operating system privacy settings, and mobile device permissions where applicable.
7. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Controls
Some browsers provide a "Do Not Track" setting. There is not currently a common industry standard for how online services should respond to Do Not Track signals, and Recursite does not currently respond to them.
Some jurisdictions recognize browser-based opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control. Where required by applicable law and technically feasible, we will treat recognized preference signals as requests to opt out of certain optional tracking.
8. Regional Privacy Choices
Privacy laws in some regions may describe certain optional advertising or analytics activities as a "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising." If those laws apply to you, disabling personalization/marketing cookies through Privacy choices is intended to opt you out of those optional activities on Recursite.
Depending on your location, you may have additional privacy rights described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time as our services, technologies, legal requirements, or business operations change. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and provide additional notice where required.
